With the roll out of the COVID-19 vaccines positively imminent, businesses still need to remain vigilant and nimble to respond to any timing set-backs. Presently it is envisaged that Australia’s vaccination program will be complete by October, which is great news for a “return to normal”. However, if you contemplate the global deployment risks – sourcing sufficient raw materials, scaling production, manufacturing quality assurance, cold storage management, distribution logistics, staffing vaccination administration, coordinating two dosages per person and regulatory oversight, not to mention sovereign challenges such as seen by the European Union – there is a lot of water to pass under the bridge before you pop the Champaign corks.
